1. Purpose of This Policy

This Fair Usage Policy ensures that all Smart Tradesman Solutions clients receive reliable, high-quality AI automation services while maintaining fair and sustainable system performance.

Smart Tradesman Solutions provides AI voice agents, AI receptionists, chatbots, CRM automation, and messaging systems that operate using advanced artificial intelligence and telephony infrastructure. These systems incur usage-based operational costs.

This policy clearly defines what is included in your subscription and how additional usage is handled.

Our goal is complete transparency, predictable pricing, and uninterrupted service for your business.


2. Included Monthly Usage

Each Smart Tradesman Solutions subscription plan includes a specific allocation of voice agent minutes, AI conversations, messaging automation, and/or AI processing capacity per monthly billing cycle, as defined in your selected plan.

Included usage resets automatically at the start of each billing cycle.

Unused minutes or usage do not roll over to the next billing cycle unless explicitly stated in writing.


3. Definition of Usage

Usage includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• AI voice agent call duration (inbound and outbound calls)
• AI receptionist conversations with customers
• Lead capture, qualification, and booking interactions
• AI chatbot conversations on websites, SMS, or messaging platforms
• AI-generated responses and automation processing
• SMS and messaging automation (if included in your plan)
• CRM-triggered AI interactions and automated workflows

Voice agent usage is measured in minutes, beginning when a call is connected and ending when the call is disconnected.


4. Additional Usage Charges (Overage Fees)

If your monthly usage exceeds your plan’s included allocation, additional usage will be billed at the overage rate specified in your subscription plan.

Typical overage rates range between:

$0.18 and $0.25 per additional minute, depending on your plan level.

Overage billing ensures your AI receptionist and automation systems continue operating without interruption.

Smart Tradesman Solutions will never automatically suspend or interrupt your service due to normal usage overages.


5. Usage Monitoring and Transparency

Smart Tradesman Solutions monitors system usage to ensure:

• Reliable service delivery
• System stability
• Accurate billing
• Fair resource allocation

Clients may request usage reports at any time.

Usage tracking may be available through the Smart Tradesman CRM dashboard or provided upon request.

If unusually high usage is detected, Smart Tradesman Solutions may recommend upgrading to a more appropriate plan to ensure optimal performance and pricing.


6. Excessive or Abnormal Usage

Smart Tradesman Solutions plans are designed for normal business communication and customer interaction.

Usage that falls outside normal business patterns, including but not limited to:

• Artificial call generation or automated call flooding
• System abuse or misuse
• Continuous or non-business-related usage
• Fraudulent, malicious, or abusive system behavior may require a plan upgrade, usage limitation, or migration to a custom enterprise agreement.

Smart Tradesman Solutions reserves the right to implement reasonable safeguards to maintain platform integrity and performance.


7. Plan Upgrades

Clients may upgrade their plan at any time to access:

• Higher included usage limits
• Lower overage rates
• Improved scalability
• Enhanced AI capabilities

Upgrades may take effect immediately or at the start of the next billing cycle.


8. Service Continuity

Smart Tradesman Solutions is committed to uninterrupted service.

If your usage exceeds your included allocation, your service will continue operating normally, and additional usage will be billed at the applicable overage rate.

This ensures your AI receptionist remains available to answer calls, capture leads, and support your customers at all times.


9. Infrastructure and AI Cost Structure

Smart Tradesman Solutions utilizes advanced infrastructure including:

• Artificial intelligence processing systems
• Voice processing and telephony networks
• Messaging and automation platforms
• Cloud computing infrastructure
• CRM and automation services

Usage-based billing reflects the real operational costs required to provide reliable, scalable, and high-quality AI services.
